Going beyond the classroom to learn new knowledge about computer-science topics and creating professional publications in student-driven teams. Interests include computer vision, medical imaging, and inventive models.

Project manager of 7-person team and first author on published research paper successfully detecting lymphocytes within hyperspectral medial data. Learned how to interpret existing research publications, apply computer-vision solutions to industry data, and condense findings into a final publication.
